IMPLEMENTATION SQ3R STRATEGY IN TEACHING READING COMPREHENSION IN MA AL-KHAIRIYAH WALANTAKA SERANG-BANTEN

The purpose of this research to describe the implementation SQ3R in teaching reading comprehension and identify students’ responses toward SQ3R. This used a qualitative case study conducted at MA Al-Khairiyah Pipitan. It involved one class eleventh grade which consists 17 students. data were collected through observation, interview, documentation. from three instruments analyzed qualitatively. results showed that helped students comprehend English texts. also responded positively. They focused while texts by using interested enthusiastic doing tasks. In addition n, them write questions texts, rewrite information their own words, report or summary about enrich vocabularies. conclusion, Therefore, is recommended be implemented comprehension.
